resources for your journey with jesus |
I've been silent around here because technically I'm on a sabbatical. Watch the video below to find out how that's going for me. Then scroll to the bottom for some exciting news!
Drumroll please... The new edition of my very first book, The Soul at Rest, will be released this November. While it is still the same book that thousands relied on to help them explore their journey with God, I think this version is so much better. Here are a few changes: New subtitle: The Soul at Rest: A Forty Day Journey into a Life of Prayer

Hello Tricia. I love that you shared this journey. Thank you for the reminder that God is up to something in our life. Enjoy your road trip and don’t lose those biceps. Love you both so much.

Thank you for sharing your journey with God and metaphor from your digging work. Even when you are on your sabbatical, God ministers others through you and I have been richly encouraged in my journey with Him. Hope to see you guys soon in SD. 💕

One of my favorite things you’ve done. The music and the biceps were the best. 😘

Sometimes the most profound is found in the most simple - if we keep eyes, ears, and hearts open. Thank you for putting this together -- nicely done.

WoW! And I thought you guys were “taking it easy”. No doubt this could be used in a new book about digging. 😱😉

Oh Tricia, thank you! God has you used you more than you know - again! This digging and it’s lessons are where I am in this intense pruning season.

I’m right there Tricia. And I’m so thankful you posted this for the encouragement. I think how God has used you in my life so many times and even all the way out here in Texas he still does

I’ve seen the size of those hills, the mounds of rock cover, your sweat stained body and those awesome biceps. I’m proud of you and I’m touched by the reality that though the project may be complete and there’s minimal upkeep our spiritual lives still require the hard work. I’m thankful and especially happy that times of refreshing are coming for you. I’ll be praying for you during that much needed transition and respite. Love you so much!

Tricia I am so excited to get my hands on the “new” soul at rest. This first book released in the 90’s literally changed my spiritual journey and gave me a tool to learn how to pray and how to read the word. It was a fundamental tool that opened up the joy and connection with our God! When I see and witness someone become a believer my heart is sensitive to the challenge that one may have as to “where do I begin”. It can be daunting! It’s my “go to” book to pass on to folks at that crossroad. It’ll forever be a book in my home! Thank you again and again!
